Primarily a close reader, sensitivity reader, and developmental editor, Noah currently serves as a Reader for POETRY Magazine and has worked on manuscripts that have found homes at presses like Penguin, Milkweed, Graywolf, and more. They believe that an editor’s role is as steward, not gatekeeper, and seek to meet every manuscript—regardless of subject, aesthetic, or length—on its own terms. They are currently taking on new clients for:

• Individual Poems

• Sequences

• Submission Packets

• Fellowship/Residency Applications

• MFA/PhD Applications

• Chapbooks

• Full Length Manuscripts

Rates are sliding scale, ranging from $50 for an individual poem to $250+ for full length manuscripts, and include an initial phone or email consultation, substantial written feedback and annotations, and at least one collaborative meeting by phone, Zoom, or in-person.

Noah is also available for one-off Zoom sessions to work through an individual poem, offer guidance on publishing, or talk about close reading processes. Rates for these sessions are $50/hr or $25/half-hour
